Small/Medium Enterprise Progressive Programming Support
Problem:
A National Real Estate firm had a pressing need to centralize communications between management, offices and staff. The Company wanted to reduce the time and effort it was taking to Fax and/or E-mail critical correspondence between the Management, sales staff and all employees involved in the corporate training program.
Solution:
After conducting a complete requirements and needs analysis Beacon's Professional Service Group provided a complete solutions package to the Management. After purchasing and installing all required network communications software and equipment Beacon began the data conversion task as well as the training all management and users. The hands on Training involved all aspects of the business including financial, data entry and retrieval, report generation and document sharing, as well as system maintenance.
Problem:
A National lumber wholesaler possessed a legacy software package over a decade old. The original vendor no longer supported this software, and finding qualified software professionals was an ongoing problem. The software package had some problems, and the company's business practices had changed, but the software did not reflect these changes. Sound familiar?
Solution:
Beacon was not only able to assist this client in their immediate needs of "bug" fixes, but was also able to provide on going support for design and developement of many other program modules and systems. Beacon provided the techinal expertise to upgrade the PICK software and UNIX operating system with the latest revisions. We are currently involved in a Web Intergration project to bring their PICK database to the web.
